VERGOTIA 2026
The Vegotia 2026 Meeting will be held on Saturday May 16 2026 in the recently renovated “Andreas Vergotis” Municipal stadium of Argostoli. The meeting in its ninth edition is enlisted in the World Athletics Calendar as part of the Continental Tour Europe (category D – Challenger). Great international and Greek athletes will compete together with the best local athletes. The highlight will be the Men Long Jump with the participation of the 2 times Olympic Champion Miltos Tentoglou. The program includes 12 events of sprints, jumps and throws (7 for men and 5 women) and events for U16 boys and girls. There will be TV coverage and admission is free. Prior to the main event kid’s athletics will take place.

2025 USATF Outdoor National Championships
The 2025 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships
… will be held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon from July 31 — August 3, 2025. They will serve as USATF’s national championships in track and field for the United States. The results of the event will determine qualification for the September 13–21 2025 World Athletics Championships, held in Tokyo, Japan. Provided they achieved the World standard or are in the World Athletics ranking quota, the top two athletes in each event will gain a place on the Team USA World team. In the event that a leading athlete does not hold the standard (or an athlete withdraws) the next-highest-finishing athlete with the standard will be selected instead. USATF is expected to announce their World Championship roster based on these guidelines in August 2025.

The XXIV International Athletics Meeting 'City of Guadalajara' , an event included in the World Athletics Global Calendar and in the national calendar of International II competitions of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the 'Fuente de la Niña' Athletics Stadium and is organized by the Unión Guadalajara Athletics Club and the Federation of Castilla La Mancha with the sponsorship and collaboration of the Guadalajara City Council. Admission is free.

The Legend of Salix | The Rabbit Who Leaps Towards the Stars
Once upon a time, in the peaceful town of Vrbovec, beneath the branches of ancient willows, lived an unusual grey rabbit named Salix. He was different from other rabbits – he didn’t enjoy running in circles or hiding in bushes. Instead, Salix loved to jump – and not just any jump, but high, higher than anyone before him. He dreamed that one day, he would leap so high he could touch the stars.
Each night, while the town slept, Salix would go out to the meadow and practice his jumps under the starlit sky.The stars whispered stories to him – tales of great athletes, of people who pushed boundaries of dreamers who reached for the impossible. These stories gave him strength and faith that he too could become a symbol of something great.
Today, Salix is more than a rabbit – he is the guardian of the meeting, a symbol of courage, perseverance, and imagination. When you see him, remember: 💫 The sky is not the limit. The stars await those brave enough to leap.

2025 Harry Schulting Games
On May 18, 2023, we will again host the Harry Schulting Games! This year as always, with spectators and with a strong field of athletes.
The Athletics federation has again granted the Harry Schulting Games the status of ‘National permit Meeting’. The Harry Schulting Games is one of four track events in the Netherlands that belongs to the E-category competitions of World Athletics. Thanks to this status, athletes can earn extra points for the World Ranking and based on their position on this World Ranking, qualify directly for international tournaments.

Pure athletics!
There's something for everyone at the Ludwig Jall Sports Festival
In the morning, athletes from the U16 age group upwards compete in various sprint, running, jumping, and throwing disciplines.
In the afternoon, the Munich athletes compete against national and international competitors in the top events.
Inclusion competitions with para-athletes will also take place throughout the day.
